This training session will provide an in-depth exploration of cis men’s violence towards trans women and trans feminine people in intimate partner relationships.

The content will include:

• Drivers of violence towards trans women and trans feminine people
• Barriers within prevention of violence and response sectors to address cis men’s violence towards trans women and trans feminine people
• How violence and negative attitudes from men’s families, friends and broader communities impact these relationships
• Trans women & trans feminine people’s experiences of intimate partner violence, sexual assault and sexual exploitation by cis men
• Responding to trans women & trans feminine people’s experiences of intimate partner violence, sexual assault and sexual exploitation by cis men.
